The Ministry to Seafarers exists “to love and honour God by serving the seafarers of the world with unusual kindness in word and deed, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.” This is done through visiting seafarers on ships, showing hospitality at the Flying Angel Club, literature distribution, Christmas at Sea and other expressions of kindness. Classis BCSE supports full time chaplain, Rev. Gary Roosma.
Wellspring Christian Fellowship exists on the mission field of UBCO to encourage and equip students, staff, and faculty to be life-long disciples of Jesus. The desire is to root students, staff and faculty in Christ and empower them to reach out in the love of Christ. Classis BCSE supports Dr. Todd Statham as a full time chaplain.
LDN is inspired by Paul’s teaching “to equip God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…and become mature,” (Eph. 4:12-13)and by the story of Apollos who “was a great help to those who by grace had believed” after being mentored by Priscilla and Aquilla. (Acts 18:27)
LDN’s Mandate is to provide reformed theological training for the whole people of God, equipping disciples of Jesus Christ conversationally around the text of Scripture and the text of their lives.
We accomplish this through the 3-year LDN training program, the 1-day Let’s Talk About events for church and ministry leaders, and website resources.

Engaging People. Embracing Christ.
Resonate isn’t just a metaphor for our work, it’s a picture of the future we pursue. People all over the world are hungry to hear about the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and it is our mission to live and share that good news.
The Christian Reformed Church has a rich history of sending missionaries, planting churches, engaging students through campus ministry & international schools, and a passion for fulfilling the great commission. Through this transformational work, we amplify Christ’s love in every direction.
The Aboriginal Ministry is made up of a national committee (Canadian Aboriginal Ministry Committee), three Urban Aboriginal Ministries (Indigenous Family Centre, Winnepeg; Indian Metis Christian Fellowship, Regina; Edmonton Native Healing Centre, Edmonton), and a Justice and Reconciliation Mobilizer, each using their strengths to support healing and reconciliation between Aboriginal peoples and non-Aboriginal peoples in Canada. It is rooted in a recognition of our Creator’s love for all creation and in the understanding that we all have gifts to offer one another.
You add. God multiplies.
As a member of the Christian Reformed Church in North America, you have a tremendous opportunity to be a part of more than a thousand congregations representing hundreds of thousands of people – each being used by God to effect change in the world. This is the beauty of Ministry Shares.
About eight dollars a week from each active, adult member enables all of us to participate in life-changing ministry, at home and around the world. Ministry Shares is powered by a simple commitment to be a part of something bigger. It is a very cost effective way of providing funds for ministry. It enables us to do much more together!
