Welcome! We are so glad you have taken a moment to get to know a little more about who we are. At Cornerstone you will meet a church family connected together because of Christ. We warmly encourage you to come and explore further, to visit and find out, what Cornerstone is all about.
Because we are a medium sized church with a diverse group in terms of age, occupation, marital status, lifestyle, and physical ability; our members create many accessible opportunities for community service, Bible study, and small social groups.
Our worship service starts at 10:00 AM every Sunday morning and runs for about an hour and a half. During this time we enter into dialogue with God: we pray, we sing, we hear His Word and we receive His blessing. We try to be honest with Him in our confessions and joyfully hear His words of grace and assurance as found in Scripture. Every week we hear His call to go out and live out our stories as Christ changed people, responding to a hurting world, and proclaiming the good news of Christ’s love and grace offered to all. This grace, and the joy that comes in Christ, is also offered to you!
As you enter our building you will be welcomed by our friendly hosts in our church foyer. They will be more than happy to assist you in any way they can to make your visit memorable and enjoyable.
As you enter the section of our building where we worship, you will be greeted by our friendly door greeters. There will be ushers standing by each aisle to provide you with a bulletin. Please sit wherever you feel most comfortable.
At 10:00 AM, one of our pastors will come to the platform and begin our communal time of worship. You will be able to follow along with the service outline in the bulletin. All of the songs and responsive readings will be on the screen. If you are in need of hearing or visual aids, please let one of the ushers know and they will be happy to assist you.
During the service, we collect an offering for a variety of ministries and needs both global and local. As a guest, please do not feel obligated to give.
We look forward to meeting you, and having you join us in worship or in one of our weekly events. If we can be of service to you in any way, please let us know, we are here to help.
